pfc006RM 2112 ( 12 step) ” Economical Unit ”

  • Mains voltage to this unit 220V AC (only )
  • ( For 400V, 525V or 550V control transformer 150 VA as to be installed ) 400V/220, 525/220, 550/220V
  • With monitoring of the harmonic overcurrent in the capacitor.
  • All (7) function is fully programmable on these unit.
  • With 6 or ( 12 ) Led step indication plus 6 or (12) Led’s for control / alarm.
  • Power Factor Digital Display .
  • Alarm contact if selected (output relay No 6 or (12 )as to be used ).
  • Panel cut-out 138 x 138mm unit depth 45 mm.

Programming :
The control Relay comes with a Pre-Programmed standard values and the user mostly only needs to change the target Power fator ( cos phi) or a few values to suit these special requirements, however all (7 off) pre-set values can be changed to meet special requirements or site conditions.

THESE ABOVE POWER FACTOR CONTROLLERS COMPLIES FULLY WITH THE NEW EUROPE REGULATIONS FOR POWER FACTOR CONTROLLERS.
RM 9606 is a micro processor, all program values are programmable and is extremely user friendly to program any of the values, this Control Relay comes with a pre-programmed standard values and the user only needs to change the target power factor (cos phi) or a few values to suit these special requirements, however all (24 off) pre-set values can be changed to meet special requirements or site conditions.

EMR 1100S (12 step )
  • Microprocessor controlled.
  • Automatic identification of voltage.
  • Automatic C/K  identification of connected. Current transformer …/1A or ../5A
  • Uniform working duty for all capacitors stages due to cyclic operation.
  • Programmable stage ratios for all standard capacitor stages. 1:1:1:1… 1:2:2:2…etc.
  • By pressing the ” Auto / Manual” key the control relay can be switched over from Automatic to Manual operation and vise versa.
  • Number of switching operations until alarm activates.
  • The RM 9606 is equipped with a four quadrant control  ( power feedback)
  • Switching time delay 5 to 500 sec.
  • No-Voltage trip (Undervoltage monitoring)
  • Four – quadrant power control with Led disply
  • Monitoring of harmonic levels / addition protection for capacitors ( RMS )
  • Cyclic switching for capacitors stages of the same rating

Application :
  • To control any Automatic capacitor bank .   If harmonic protection has been programmed the following applies :
    • If harmonic exceeding the pre-programmed value the relay will shut down the capacitor bank.  It will restart the capacitor bank once the values are again with in the permissible limits.
Display  :
  • Actual power factor ( cos phi )
  •  Reactive current
  • Inductive or capacitive load.
  •  Active current.
  • Total KVAr
  •  Apparent current
  • Harmonics this display the 5th, 7th, 11th and 13th harmonics.
Led indicators :
  • (6 off) LEDs 1 to 6 show the number of capacitor stages switched on.
  • One LED for power factor display (Cos Phi) and alarm marker.
  • One LED for reative current, active current, apparent current and alarm
  • One LED for manual mode.
  • One LED for harminic and alarm
  • One LED for power feedback.
  • One LED for alarm.
Programming :
  • The control Relay comes with a Pre-Programmed standard values and the user mostly only needs to change the target Power fator ( cos phi) or a few values to suit these special requirements.
